Mother Nature has given us a nice window today to get started with greens aerification. The process starts with spreading a layer of sand on the turf. The aerifier then punches the holes and the sand is dragged from the surface into the holes. A little additional sand will be needed in the coming days when the sand settles.

The front side greens are getting a 1/2″ solid tine and a 5/8″ hollow tine on the back. This variance in tines is to help address the differing issues that the older and newer greens each have.
