Foliar Fertilizer and Fungicide

Much of the work done on the course is not as noticeable as the terrific new signage. We make every effort to complete maintenance tasks with the least disruption to players. Today will wrap up a very busy and productive week for the RHGC Team.

Greens received foliar fertilizer and fungicide applications as well as a light topdressing of sand and were rolled to help smooth the surface. The tees, fairways and rough were all fertilized along with a weed control application completed.

What’s Next?

Venting of the greens with a PlanetAir machine is scheduled for Monday. The small slits it creates helps provide open channels for water and gases to move through the root zone. With temperatures trending up, growth throughout the course will begin to accelerate.
